OK, I was wrong, it excists in dialect. It is on the CD that follows the Shetland Bible....but I can't find it written anywhere......

I guess that the Shetlanders has learned the prayer in proper English, like we Norwegians learned it in proper Norwegian, there are things where you not use dialect, and I think this is one of them. Correct me if I'm wrong. This website might be useful for you : http://www.shetlanddialect.org.uk/

In Norway we have a law that says that all dogs shall be kept in lash between first of April and twentieth of August. That is a law for the whole Country, many towns and communes have expanded that law to be a rule for the whole year on beaches, parks and other public areas.....

Yeah, I think it comes from Norse....The words "Pir" - "Piren" means small in some dialects, a "Pir" is also a small fish ....

^^ What has this to do with the security at Sumburgh Airport ???????????

Sumburgh Airport is no worse than others, I think.....and i've gone though quite a lot of airports around the world.... OK, I was body searched, had to empty my backpack... used to that..(kitchen sink and all the rest)....and tell them what things were, while the Auld Een was giggeling on the other side of the line...( HE was known !!!! - I was a foreigner!!)...., but they were polite, nothing to complain about !! ....Before the security check......my name was called, and I had to show up at the checked in luggage area...a man had my big bag in front of him.....frowned at me..."Your bag?"...---"Yes" (Wondering what's wrong)----"There is a LIGHTER in there !!!!!!" Ooooops, I've forgot the one that was left in the small handbag I had to put in the luggage because of the "one-hand-luggage-item pr. person-rule" Luckily I knew about where in the bag the handbag were, found it, and all were happy !! (...In Frankfurt one time, a security guy looked at me as I've comitted murder, pointed at my backpack and said :" There is a pair of SCISSORS there !" ..and I had to dig out my small embrodery scissors, (1/2 inch blade)...it was confiscated...but my Swiss army knife with a 3 inch blade happily went through......I did not notice that that one was in a side pocket of my handbag before after I've arrived LA) PS : I wish I had seen the face of a friend of mine at the Crand Canary airport when the security man started giggeling when her backpack went through the X-ray.....and she realised that he saw the 5 funny dildos she had bought as presents to friends............
