I dont think women are the worst, young men and lorry drivers are what i am seeing all the time, maybe women in town doing 30mph but men doing 60mph or more whilst on the mobile just silly

On my way to school this morning with my 3 children in the back I drove past 3 people driving whilst using their mobile phones, more and more I am seeing this happen even the driver of the big lorries Are you really that stupid that you think you wont have an accident, have a thought that what you are doing it is so dangerous and can take lives. Pull over for gods sake its not rocket science Absolute IDIOTS!!!!!! (***Mod Edit - Merged to existing thread***)

Is anyone else having problems with the Virgin network, we have had no signal now for over 2 weeks and have lodged a complaint with virgin after being left on hold for an hour. its the only network I can get where I live, was just wondering if other folk have the same problem

Hiya Im a looking for a place that will accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids on the scottish mailand, in early August this year, we dont want to spend to much on the accommodation as we just need some where to sleep as we have lots of plans of day trips, any ideas most hotels wont accept more than 4 due to fire hazards etc. thanks (***Mod Edit - Moved to the Travel section***)

I live a good 250/300 meters down a hill from the main road, the items that I have ordered recently I certainly would not be expecting any streamline employee to walk that distance carrying my packages (health and saftey,) when I can on my way to pick up children, go to the specified hall to collect items myself, I knew that the weather was due so I made arrangements with streamline to have the items delivered to another address which is easier to get to, and they have done so. I will have all my parcels in time for xmas thanks to streamline

Thanks streamline, brilliant idea to put the stuff to the halls, I struggle during the winter to get deliveries even by royal mail, so its great to know that i can go and pick it up myself, close to home and I know it doesnt run the risk of being sent back Thanks again

I had a look its definatley not that had more black than that duck and much bigger more black than white

I wondered if it may have belonged to somebody, i cant emphasise enough on the red face/beak and how black the black bits were, it was something I have never seen before. Its frustrating when you are the only one to see it and that I didnt have a camera.

Hi I saw it here in Voe, I live down in the valley and it flew past my back kitchen window over towards Susta Farm, it was the red face/beak that made me have a double take, i have a lot of geese around here but this one really stood out and that it was on its own.

Thanks for that but it definatley wasnt either of them, it was the size of a goose didnt have the long neck of a swan very distinct red face/beak and jet black and white

I have just seen a single goose which was back and white with a red looking face/beak. never seen one like this what is it? It was on its own aswell which i found strange from the pics on google all that I can match it to is a 'spur-winged goose'

I live in the country here in shetland and I have a few hills to wander up and down, i must admit I grew up in St.Andrews and there were so many places to walk the dogs i miss it, when you could see and smell the change in the seasons, i loved it.

I have lived with dogs, all labs since I was young, father trained them as gun dogs. Have a young family now and really wanted to bring a dog into their lives. We had 2, 4 month old pups that got out ran to a field near by and were shot by the farmer, thankfully both survived. I just needed to know what methods some people have used to prevent them running for the sheep.

Hi folks I was just wondering if any of you had the same problem as myself, I recently applied for a loan from my bank and one of the questions I was asked was 'Why was I not registered on the electrol role' I stated that i was, unfortunatley i was refused my loan, i couldnt understand why so I set up an account with Experian to find out my credit rating, I found that it was not so good,due to the fact that I was not registered at my address I was really shocked so I asked my husband to check with our local registrar office and see if I was defintley on the electrol role, I apparentley was. So I then phoned Experian and explained what had happened and they assured me that I was not on the electrol role, at this point I was really confused. I asked the guy to explain (I live in Voe) he stated that the address that i lived at for years didnt exist and that they had my address different, that my district was dunrossness and that this information had been given to them from S.I.C, we have tried a few other attempts to get this changed but to no avail, has this issue affected anyone else? or does anyone have any idea how to sort it?
