nederlander
Just wondering if anyone here has, or was thinking of entering a team in the six-a-side league starting next week on the Brae astroturf? Should be a hoot!
penfold
We thought about it nederlander but decided to stick to indoors ower the winter, I mind playing on the pitch in brae in a bit of a winter league a few years back and it was no enjoyment. Mainly down to the weather not the football I may add

brokenlink
how did the first night go? Any sense?
nederlander
It went quite well. Although there were no balls or bibs provided as they are "in transit". Also one of the goals had no net, annoying, but a minor quibble really. I believe that Cape lost to Cape DBI, unsure as to the score in that game. Mossbank beat Sparl of Delting, again, not sure of the score. The Rebellettes defeated Dynamo Kebab 4-0 Finally the Wrultizers beat the Rebels, i believe the score was 5-1. Was good fun, but the games are actually a bit short at 26mins.
penfold
See there is a site for results and fixtures for the sixes league here. http://eurosixes.com/leagueinfo_fixtures.php?division_id=1421&search_fixture_division=1421&league_id=1088&search_fixture_league=1088&season_id=2438&search_goalscorer=1088&search_goalscorer_division=1421
nederlander
Yeah, the website is actually quite good, although nobody has yet put up any match reports or team photos! I think we'll need to sort that out! Still no word on the free strips we were supposed to be getting.... I won't be holding my breath! Still, a good turn out every night so far as I can tell, despite the cold and rain, I suppose it'll only get worse!

nederlander
Its back to being on a Tuesday night now! Must have been a mistake on the website! Just as well, because half our team wouldn't have been able to make it on a Monday!
nederlander
It does indeed! Typical really Hopefully nobody actually noticed the fixtures for December were listed as being on a Monday night, that would save any problems!
