mr_brain
Folk who post adverts in the classifieds section are starting to pee me off, how can you expect to sell a car if you dont give ANY info about it... i think the information below should be the MINIMUM that is put forward... Please ensure that your advert contains the following:# MAKE:# Model:# Age/Reg:# Colour:# Mileage:# Service history:# Cambelt:# MOT until:# Tax until:# Number of previous owners:# Tyres fitted:# Modifications:# Good points / bad points:# Any other information: any thoughts? colinm
Think the first thing I would tell people is the make!!!

JustMe
Probably matters less with cars than some other adverts but location would help.
colinm
What I find really helps is pictures!!
Ghostrider
Agree with JustMe, location would be a big help. It doesn't need to be precise if folk aren't wanting to put up anything that might lead to ID'ing themselves. North, south, west, central or isles would go a long way to saving folk's time....and helping things sell.
trout
Absolutely agree that pictures do help you in your sales + the more information you provide to people in your descriptions the more likely that people will understand what is being sold and whether they might want to buy it. Noodeyn
I would have to agree, mileage service history price range etc could have easily been added to enhance the sale, suppose it depends on how keen you are to sell. Come to think of it my Audi advert maybe isn't much better!
Hobbiniho
one thing that bugs me with car adverts is the people who have absolutely nothing constructive to add but just come out with sarcastic comments
beachcaster
^ Its not only the car adverts that has that problem, it happens on a lot of the classifieds. This being a prime example.. http://www.shetlink.com/classifieds/shetlink-classified-adverts.php?ad_id=6011 How many of those who left negative comments have actually viewed the flat in question before they decided it was not worth the money being asked, not many me thinks.
