deltoid
why did they not just register there whole squad from 18's to A's?..........makes sense! The 18s have only managed to field a team of 11 players twice this season and have 1 player who would be able to make the step up to A's. From the 18s teams the last two years, 8 play for Mossbank (could play for the A's but moaned about not making it into the league winning side at the age of 16 and would rather play in the third tier, but thats another story altogher!) and just 3 have gone on to play A/B for Delting. The current four years from 16s to 18s are four weak years for Delting, and with many of the 18s from the previous 2 or 3 years moving to Mossbank, it may be a long time before any new young players play for Delting A's. muckletrow
As a regular viewer of Skysports I have noticed that (during the world cup) England, Argentina, Germany and Spain have been playing handball during training. Can anyone tell me why this is done, given that we are talking about the worlds best teams and coaches? I cannot see the benefit of such methods. JohanofNess
teamwork Damn right. Remember there is no I in team. It appears there is no Rooney, Lampard or Gerrard either.

The boys who left for Mossbank didn't just leave because they were 16 and couldn't get into the A's it's because of Rab Duffin and JJ bringing them to games and when Delting were humping teams 10-0 they weren't even getting on.This wasn't just a 1 off case with that group of players, it's been happening for years at Delting because JJ sticks with the older ones. Only a handful of players have made it into the A's from coming through the ranks in the last 6 years or so. As for Mossbank well i hope they last for a while because they are doing well and i believe the boys are enjoying themselves.
