Where are you .......And what would you rather be doing??

I'm still here in Grotty Nottingham, watching the rain falling on the trees out the front.

I'd much rather be in Shetland, watching the rain falling on the broad Atlantic. Even if there wasn't a tree in sight.

^ I thoroughly enjoyed the rainfall in Nottingham recently. It was like a lovely warm gentle shower. Quite pleasant.

^ Hi, khit, glad you liked the place. Was your course at thr University of Nott'm (The rather nice green campus a few miles out of town)? - If so, that's my 'alma mater'. It is a good, relaxing place to learn - we often did our philosophy sessions sitting out on the grass when the weather was OK, very pleasant.

 

I'd still swap you Nott'm for Shetland anytime, though!

^ It was, yes. Stayed at Cripps Hall and all the lab work was at the Queen's Medical School. Such beautiful trees en route! Never had a chance to see any of the city though - my last afternoon there I had free and so my only excursion off campus was seeing Inception at the cinema within walking distance (such fun!).

You didn't get the chance to see the Nottingham Riviera then? Quite comical in the torrential rain.
