Many thanks to the organisers for their sterling efforts in bringing Matt Cardle to Shetland. Not something I would choose to endure, but my thirteen year old daughter was delighted. It's good to see something aimed at the younger generation (beats growing piles on Conochies' window ledge of a weekend); I would like to see more of this. A+

Shetlink used to be a fantastic forum for properly airing our views, and no doubt the potential still exists. I found, when I was living overseas, and even when I moved back to Shetland, that Shetlink was an invaluable source of information with some good advice. Is it just me, or have things declined into a bickering rant? Let's bring it back to the forum it used to be. (I'm almost afraid to post this as I can already imagine the ensuing comments)
