Firstly Police do not report matters to the court they report matters to the Procurator Firscals service. I an evidential threshhold is met the person will appear in court If there are difficulties with the case the matter will be reported byt the Procurator Fiscal to Crown Office and Crown Councils instructions on how to proceed will be sought in any event cases such as these are controled by Crown office as Rape is only ever prosecuted in the High Court of Justiciary. For this topic to have any credibility someone needs to get a hold of the costs for the adminstration portion of key services. Ferry's what is the cost of say the non productive part of the service managers directors etc not the cost of the Ferry crews and fuel. Refuge minus the cost of the actual workers who lift the rubbish and provide skips etc what part of the budget again is for administration and management. I have experianced that Joannie I lived with friends just outside Letterkenny one worked in Derry one worked in Donegal they had no problems they shopped in Tesco in Derry paid in Euro's you were asked at the checkout what currency you wanted to use didn't seem to be a problem for them other than the tax return for the Derry worker declaring his income as tax paid in the UK
