  1. The link you've posted has a full stop at the end Sailor, so doesn't open, you'll need to edit it. Great charity, good luck with the event everyone!
  2. How did you know the scores at 6.52pm, or is there a ghost in the machine?
  3. The mac shop is no longer in existance, and from what i can make out, all mac repairs need to go through a company in Aberdeen called "Scotia Computing" I've got to send my Imac G5 down there to get the logic board replaced, as it apparently fried itself the other night. When I phoned the applecare hotline, I got put through to a gentleman in Bangalore, who struggled with the concept of Shetland, and even Scotland, then suggested taking it to a company in slough! Three cheers for the call centre!
  4. I think there is a serious argument for both teams here. 3 years ago Fergie tried to conjure his magic again by not investing in the squad, and making Fletcher, O'shea etc automatic first choices. That season they didn't even make it out of the group stages of the champions league, as well as never troubling Chelsea in the League. The bar had been raised by Chelsea. This year Fergie has strengthened, and all 4 of his buys had a part to play in the final. If chelsea hadn't have come in with millions to spend, would the likes of Eagles, Shawcross, Evans, Campbell, Wellbeck, Simpson and Bardsley be first team regulars by now. Without the experience, it's difficult for these guys to get in the team. My point is, Chelsea has made the English game much stronger, and the top 4 teams are rightly recognised as 4 of the best 8 teams in Europe, season after season. Where this will end, who knows? Mr Abramovich will no doubt have the chequebook out again this summer, as will Sir Alex
  5. I just heard on 5 live that after Ronaldos penalty miss, they've taken the player of the year trophy off him.... and given it to John Terry. At least one Chelsea player ended the season with some silverware.
  6. "A day for glory hunters", I thought Chelsea lost?
  7. A splendid version of the rednex "Cotton Eye Joe" ^^^ do they do any other classic drinking songs in Chinese, I'm hoping for "Jolene" or even " I am a cider drinker" Good on the folk festival for widening the net, it'll be a great weekend as always!
  8. ^ Genius indeed, it's amazing what you can do with a pile of musicians and several men that dont mind dressing up as women. Some rather impressive cameos on vocals, as well as trumpets that James Brown would have been proud of. Look out for squad 3 this year, starting at sound school, and coming to a school, leisure centre, nightclub, local hall, town hall, army baracks, social club, ferry terminal, community centre, and bizzarely huge games hall on the night (always seems peerier when we're playing fitba on Mondays) near you soon.

    Scotland v Italy

I canna believe soom people. Lets all get behind the team and nation. I am already proud of what we have achieved, having been at all the home games. I dont know if that makes me a true fan, and I dont care, I just hope we can get get one final result and then I can buy the campervan for next summer. Away the lads!
  10. Well done that man! Did my motivational speech the night before the interview do the trick? Now where's Alec McLeish's number gone
  11. Are you all set for the clinic, already over 150 tickets gone, and a sell out is expected. Spoke to Stanton on the phone today, and he's excited at the prospect of the tour. Here's hoping for no fog. Anybody going to the Scottish Drum Day in Glasgow on Sunday? I know of a few Shetlanders in Glasgow that are going, we should plan a meet and pint! Hope you enjoy the clinic, you're in for a treat.

    France 0 - Scotland 1

I'm sorry Mr Benvie, but statistically speaking, at the precise moment of the Scotalnd vrs Italy game, both nations will require something from the game. That's if we're assuming the Scotland and Italy win their games up to that point. If Scotland beat both Ukraine and Georgia, then yes, a draw in the final game will actually secure us winning the group, and surely deserving a good seeding at the championships. At this exact stage, if Italy were to draw the game, and France were to go on and win all remaining fixtures, Italy would finish 3rd, a point behind both Scotland and Italy. So they'll be going for the win. The final table would show 1 Scotland 28 points 2 France 28 points 3 Italy 27 points Scotland would win the group as they have a better head to head record against France. But I would love a boring draw against Italy if all else works out, imagine winning the group!

I have no idea what half this means, are you a Scotland fan?

    France 0 - Scotland 1

With Itlay only one point ahead of France, and the Scotland vrs Italy game 2nd to last, Italy will definately have to beat us to Guarantee finishing above France. So I canna see that fixture being as straight forward as both teams settling for a draw. I wish it was that easy
