JAStewart
I don't love the laws of this country so much. I'd prefer a smaller governmental role in society all together. I'm just challenging common viewpoints because winding people up is what I do. I'm just like my dad.
Gibber
The BNP drove past me on Friday in Aberdeen in their loudhailer lorry. I gave them the one finger salute and they just laughed and waved. They didn't stop and give me a kicking, which was nice.
Vicky
lib dems terrible lot wrecking the country. Yet they are the only party with a clear manifesto and plan for our contry. Like no income tax on the first £10k people earn?Refurbishing ship yards so they can be used to make giant offshore wind turbines, bring employment to many areas?Halving the number of nuclear warheads we have stockpiled?Reducing fuel duty?Just to name a few. Does anyone actually know what Labour or the Conservatives stand for? Corruption and big business perhaps?

Skunnered
vicky when is Alistair planning on paying back the money he claimed by "mistake" it may just be a grand and a bit but those in glasshouses better not throw stonesDo you know for a fact that he hasn't paid it back yet?And if he hasn't, would that be a good reason for not voting LibDem, or could it be that there are greater, more important issues at stake for the forthcoming election? paulb
it was on the bbc internet site it listed all the mps and what they owed and what they had paid back and what they still owed. it listed him as still owing the cash. oh well he has paid £480 and still owes £480 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8493634.stm
Skunnered
^^That was last updated on 4th February, showing that at that time he hadn't repaid anything but still owed £480. We don't know what has happened since then.

JAStewart
It's great to know that you are flawless, skaterboy. The media plays a part in stirring up this anti-MP BS. Some of the reports about Alistair was just lies (like his "luxury" flat furnishing), plain and simple. Yet people believe it. Sad.
paulb
how about us paying £30 for his hanging basket. yup every mp must have one or they simply could not do their job.
EM
If I were Alistair Carmichael I think I'd be somewhat confused why the above discussion is in a thread on the BNP. Last I checked he was a Liberal. Surely there are more appropriate threads.
