Canute
I see that no one has mentioned that king of sandwiches; the leveller of all culinary delights: The Chip Butty Deep Joy.

Fjool
Peanut Butter and Dairylee... Delectable! Boak! Although Dairylee all by itself is, as you so eloquently put it, 'boak'. There's nothing you could combine it with to make something un-boakish. Or, horror of horrors: Primula 'cheese' spread. Veni Vidi Vomito. Hmmmm. Sounds a bit special. I can't believe I forgot this, the Boxing Day Sandwich: TurkeyStuffingSliced chipolatas + anything else left over from the christmas denner that you want to stick in a sandwich. Stuff it all in there, and throw it on the George Forman for 3-4 minutes. Lovely.
Teenie3
Yep, I too am a big fan of leftovers in sandwiches. Very fav must be Meatballs in a bagette (or similar long bun thing) with Tomato & Port sauce and melted cheese. In fact whenever I make meatballs & pasta for tea I always make extra slightly smaller ones for sandwiches the next day. I do realise this is the same idea as the "Meatball Subway" - but it's much better as it's home made and the port makes all the difference!!
