Ghostrider
^^ Yes, but the Hydro is liable to need the most of that 15p for the power the Breadmaker uses at their current charges.
paulb
well i assumed we all had our own wind turbines. but say 5p for the power. still better than a stale loaf from either store. Its at least 2-3 days old by the time it gets here.
Ghostrider
^^ Well, I wouldn't know what a Breadmaker is plated at, or how long it has to be on to bake a loaf, I don't have one. However, power was being charged at £0.14994 inc per unit on my last bill, that's only 20 minutes at 1 Kw for a loaf for your 5p, maybe it can be done, but purely on guesswork, it seems rather low. joshua767
Chris Hodge is a legend, end of.
CrunchieSquirrel
I like the stuff that Chris Hodge sells but when he had a cafe in his warehouse, the staff were smashing plates (not the traditional Greek style) and the customers were cheering. The chips I ate there were a bit too soggy for my tastes!
joshua767
I was only in the cafe a few times but I thought it was really good. One time I was in and it was nearly closed so I got extra food in my roll!

Ghostrider
So, is this the end of the end, or will he rise again. " Hodge estate seized" http://www.shetland-news.co.uk/2009/July/news/Hodge%20estate%20seized.htm A shame in a way, but, as some AHS teacher back in the day was wont to say (probably the only thing I recall them saying, whoever they were): "The theory was good, but in practice it didn't do so well". khitajrah
Out of curiousity, do they write nice articles like that about everyone who goes bankrupt or is it just because Hodge has been in the papers for so long?
