Ghostrider
Anybody mind the van that sold Solotti's Ice Cream? I don't know if it got used in the toon, but it came round the country districts in the summer during the 60's. Orange lower half and front, and a higher yellowish bit at the back (think Popemobile style) where they stood in and served out a window on the side. joenorth
"Auld Batty" was the toonie equivalent of the ice cream van. I can picture him cycling his old tricycle with the cold box on the front around the toon with his beret on. I mind being amazed at his cockney accent. JohanofNess
I remember the Swimming in the pool opposite the ex museum! I started swimming lessons there just before it got destroyed.... Yeah my dad used to take me and my older brother to the old pool, maybe its because I was so young but I thought it was absolutely massive.
