Spinner72
I dont know why i didnt mention it in my previous post, but Life on Mars is one of the series that has had me in stitches more than any other recent show. Gene Hunt is one of the best characters ever to grace our screens. Looking forward to Ahes to ashes this year (I recieved Boys from the Blackstuff from Santie! I had forgotten how many references to Shetland there were..)

cuckoo
Dads Army , it still cracks me up when i watch all the repeats. And i also think Tutti Frutti should be repeated .
penfold
dads army is a cracker, the "don't give him your name Pike" scene still has me in fits of laughter whan I see it
TeeAyBee
dads army is a cracker, the "don't give him your name Pike" scene still has me in fits of laughter whan I see it If I had to vote for just one sitcom, Dad's Army would be it. There were quasi-imitations such as Frankie Howerd's "And Churchill Said To Me" but as you say with classic lines like the quoted one, how could anything else come close.
