breeksy
It certainly wasn't dirty when I was in having an operation two weeks ago! The cleaners were very much in evidence and doing a good job.
paulb
they have been cut and dont ask a nurse about the slops that are served up to the patients. this is not an attack on the workers but the management they there to make a profit. i dont know why its so hard to provide a good catering service but its poor. ArabiaTerra
I have to agree with Paulb about the catering. The last time I was served food in the GBH, it was as bad as the worst school meal I could remember from childhood. Truly awful. http://img2.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/sick/sick0021.gif
Frances144
Well, I have to disagree. I was in GBH A&E t'other day. Doc made me Nil By Mouth for 4 hours while they pondered. Then decided I could go home, and nurses kindly offered me some grub. They came back with a decent egg mayo on granary roll, lovely yoghurty/jammy/muesli thing with no sugar and I thought it was very edible. Compared with the garbage I have eaten in London hospitals over the years, that is not bad. At KCH in South London I pretended to be Muslim so I could at least have a decent curry! The Jewish food at the Middlesex was great too!
ArabiaTerra
Well, maybe it's improved recently. My last visit was 3-4 years ago, but it was pretty appalling.
