im sure this was in the news a peerie while ago ist a three month trial of new opening times meaning thew will open later but also close later meaning that they didnt need any additional staff just changed the hours or something like that

i had malcolm craigie as a driving instructor and he explained things in a very logical and simple way and never got mad. if i got somethign wrong he would ask me what i thought i had just done wrong which really made me think more about what i was doing

please dont do this , the ventilators are there for a reason, if you block the ventilators you will get damp, stagnant air and you will get dry rot so i would keep them unblocked if i were you

how can you say they have commited the same crime??? the boy in brae was alone in the car on a relatively quiet bit of road, ok the car was a wreck and he was being watched by a guardian angel the fact that he survived is nothing short of a miracle, whearas ross had TWO passengers, therefor not only putting his own life in danger but those of his passengers and sadly one of his passengers died. now tell me that is the same crime!!!!!! ross was charged with causing DEATH by dangerous driving, the boy in brae didnt kill anyone so cannot be charged for that!!!!!!!!!

yeh but imagine what the studs do to the road if there isnt any snow that is why they are illegal and im pretty sure the winters in norway have much more snow than what we get so in my opinion a comparrison cannot be used its like comparing chalk and cheese

i have done much the same thing except that i have a spare set of steel wheels with snow tyres on them and switched them over on thursday night and im glad i did a lot of folk dont bother to change tyres over and then wonder why they havent got much grip with there summer tyres in da snow

thing is though i wid like to think the bin men up here are a bit friendlier than those sooth, the bin men even come to the bottom of our drive to pick up wir bin bags as they have done for as long as i remember, i take it that the wheelie bins would only be for the toon, wid they have to be padlocked down or will "youths" steal them and just cause havoc

what is everybodys problem it seems that as soon as there is a thread posted in the buy and sell forum that there is always sumebody who has to add a stupid sarcastic comment that has nothing to do with the item that is for sale/free/wanted, can we not have it so that the posts are moderated and as soon as they are posted then a moderator locks them and all the buying selling is done via pm, many times iv got an e mail to say that someone has replied to my thread only to find out its some sarcastic tw@, if you have a problem with what is being sold/bought then use the PM function or start your own bleedin topic in the anything and everything else section but dont clog up the buy and sell with utter cr@p

not to big of a job really sheet of plasterboard and a few hours labour and it should be done, just cut out the old bit to a joist and patch in the new piece/tape and fill/sand and paint and the job is done

^^perhaps it isnt concrete after all, i was watching grand designs and there was a guy who plastered his house in a kind of plastic plaster and painted it with paint that mud dint stick to

pot noodles are slester i used to eat them but have gone off them, super noodles are the bomb

Umm, thot u were a builder? don't you need expansion joints in a mass concrete pour? no im not a builder, dont know where u got that from

the solutioin to this is have no joints, pour the whole outer skin in one go, then there are no points for failure
