north
What has happened to the Radio Shetland service on the Internet? I can't even find it anymore. The problems started with it when they changed the player format, then they changed the homepage and now they seem to change it every other month, until now it has plain disappeared! Or am I just getting it all wrong?
MJ
don't know if this helps http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/scotland_aod.shtml?scotland/goodeveningshetland sorry this one's probbably better http://www.bbc.co.uk/radioscotland/news/
marlin13
Ta for the links but they should give themselves a slap on the hand cause its much much harder to find from scratch than previously, ok for serial shetlink types but a lot of less experienced net users will no doubt have problems. Mr Beeb I am not amused
north
Thanks, MJ. They kept changing the loccation and I couldn't find it anymore. The current player seems to be working much better then the one they were using before. I need to get my daily dose of Jane Moncrieff's fabulous voice! khitajrah
I can't seem to get last night's Radio Shetland Children in Need programme to play on the internet. Did any fellow Shetlinkers listen to it? I was wondering what, if anything, the Eid Craft Group christmas cards went for. As they weren't on the first lot of auctions I was unable to stay up to midnight to find out.
MuckleJoannie
As far as I know they don't stream live. I had a quick look just now it is available for the next 7 days on play again.
khitajrah
^ I tried to 'Listen Again' but it doesn't seem to be working on my laptop.

Iceman
Listen again worked fine for me .
khitajrah
I'll get my tech support to sort it out for me after dinner then (it comes in handy having a fella with a computing degree!)
Guest don't know
Don't know if it helps much but I had problems using the player in the Google Chrome internet browser. However I tried it with Internet Explorer and it seemed to work fine.
Iceman
Firefox also works fine.
MuckleJoannie
I was listening earlier on but only the first hour is actually there. A stiff email will be on its way to the BBC shortly.
david
The first hour as in the 6-7 hour? The hour that Radio Shetland usually broadcasts whether it's Children in Need or not? Sounds like no one has told the Listen Again system that they were broadcasting past 7pm...
MuckleJoannie
Not quite. The curious thing is that you get two hours, Give Us A Tune followed by an hour of Children in Need.
