Spinner72
Might have been more impactful if the shops hadn't had the Xmas stuff out for a couple of weeks already...

GypsyScy
I found it bizarre in the street on Friday, it was so warm and sunny outside but as soon as ya went in to the shops it was christmas cards and stock!!!
Noodeyn
I love xmas dont get me wrong but having the xmas stock out so soon is just nuts. It ruins it for the kids in a way. It drags it out over too long a period and takes the excitement out of the last month as they are almost fed up with waiting by then. Does any one else agree? khitajrah
I just hope I haven't left it too late to get everyone's gifts made. This year I've decided not to buy anything new (except for the food) and make everyone's presents out of recycled materials.
JohanofNess
Costco had their Christmas display up in the 3rd week of August But it's never too early to buy a 14 foot tall Inflatable Santa Claus I say.

GypsyScy
I agree they ruin it for the bairns by starting it all too early!! Christmas week does not have the same excitement for them as they have been desensitised by advertising that starts in September!
