jz
^^ I've not noticed any pattern to when their website is updated. You may not know that the Shetland Times (paper version) comes out once a week on a Friday.
peeriebryan
The website seems to be updated 'as and when' during the week

MJ
You're local news agent should be able to order it in for you same as any other newspaper/magazine, if it's a 1 off they may not be so willing and it'll take upto 2weeks till you recieve the 1st one, Shetland times being published for a friday, most parts of the country get it by tuesday. Fifi
Anyone know who is the editor of the Shetland Times now and who's the owner of ST Ltd? Cheers.
Ghostrider
^^ The Editor is Paul Riddell. Ownership of the business was mainly with the Wishart family last I heard, but that's a bit back, so may now be out of date.
Kavi Ugl
I can't believe how much the ST has gone down hill since VW left. I can't say I was a huge fan of it back then but at least she had a knack of hitting the nail on the head in her editorials. It's a struggle nowadays to find anything worth reading in it. I'm not sure what Mr Riddle is trying to do with it but it ain't working and for 80p

ISOT
I can't believe how much the ST has gone down hill since VW left. I'm not sure what Mr Riddle is trying to do with it but it ain't working and for 80p As far as I'm concerned it's a local newspaper covering local stories which IMO does the job very well. If you look at this weeks edition there is plenty of coverage of the Commission into the SIC, loads of sports news, plenty of readers letters, loads of housing and job vacancies, plenty of news on fishing and farming and then the usual court appearances. What more do you want from a 'weekly' local newspaper? Give us some examples. Cheers
Bryando
A bit sad that my request for help 'appears' not to have happened. Looked on the Shetland news web page and the Shetland news mag(think called that) Person has messaged me to say they can't see anything from me in the paper. Therefore I really hope Phil does come on here, doubt it as she just moved. Has anybody got any other ideas how to get in touch with the person I am looking for(see first post)? Thanks
