Tomblands
"Not to put too fine a point on it, say I'm the only bee in your bonnet, make a little birdhouse in your soul". The best song ever about a nightlight?
Njugle
Whuh? Is it? I don't get that Do i detect the presence of something swishing its way past, over my head? I'm in a Zeppelin mood today, various tracks, "Trampled under foot" seemed appropriate for the snow.

Njugle
The song I was quoting was "Birdhouse in Your Soul" by They Might Be Giants I know that, it was the "nightlight" bit that threw me...?
Tomblands
Aha. Well, apparently the song is written from a nightlight's point of view, which is pretty unique I'd imagine.
invader
The song remains the same - not quite listening but video - Led Zep variety. Relly great if you like that sort of thing.
Ghostrider
Hazel O'Connor - D-Days. Yes, I know you have to be an auld beggar to know who I'm talking about. Twenty six year old original punk, and every bit as good as it was back in '81 though.
Njugle
Public Image Limited: Album (aka Compact Disc) Bizarrely, Steve Vai's finest moment, for me. (probably!! ) The arrangements are just fantastic, but sketchy and even noticeably flawed in one instance, the musicians featured are done so 'raw' but in a sublime way. Notably the guitar and percussion are beyond compare. In a word: "detonation" springs to mind. ass-kicking, hair-raising. No surprise to say that this is a re-visit, I'm riding the wave! Bear with me ps: 2-minute solo in 'Ease'

Ghostrider
A cover of 'Galveston' by Straw circa '99. Forget all pre-conceived ideas concerning this song based on past hearings, this is a rocked up version with a mutha of a bass line laid in....sublime. Njugle
Quality Roachmill! Their best album. I saw them live in Glasgow when they were touring that album, the audio-visual stage show was unlike anything else at that time, big screens, with burning crosses, atomic bombs, heaps of dry ice, UV, strobes and lasers, music synchronised with the visuals, different type of visual display for each song, lung crushing bass and bass drum beats, it was an epiphany for me. Music/gigging was never the same again......well, not quite anyway. I only had it on tape worn to near destruction years ago. I think this warrants another 7 quid on iTunes. Roachmill
^^I've just turned a very bright shade of green. Would've loved to have seen them but alas I was still popping zits at the time My one claim to fame was dating the sister of a girl who went out wi Keith McKenzie. Tenuous I know No sure if the youtube tags are working so here's a link to a a vid from the album. Class!
