Went to the Gurkha and it was fully booked! I guess their microwaves must be on full power defrosting their frozen meals...NOT! Sorry caps lock got stuck lol :0)

Has anybody been to the Gurkha in the last 2-3 weeks, I know it has had quite a few negative reviews of l8 but I think that was down to the service and not the food quality, thinking to go for a sit in meal for mothers day today?

Yeah they've just finished the work at maternity to install the birthing pool. Just had a baby in August but didn't use it, just made it into the labour room with 8 minutes to spare! Lol.

The last two chickens I had from the fort were a real disappointment. One was dry and old??? The next time I had a chicken it was very watery and the batter was half cooked, in fact does the watery chicken mean it wasn't cooked right either? Anyhoo went to the Scalloway hotel on sat for a bar meal and it was really nice, not a great selection but something for everyone. Have booked for my mums 60th at the end of the month.

Www.pistonheads.com has some really nice cars! As above you get an ecxellent service from jims etc but the prices are a lot higher. Bear in mind that it costs £160 to get the car up on the boat, I bought a car south in October as the deals were far better.

My guy shoots them and leaves them lying for the seagulls to feast upon. Ironic really as the gulls are worse vermin than the rabbits in my reckoning.

I think she would be a great help to any single women during pregnancy and birth, I'm lucky I have an excellent partner who didn't miss a scan, mid wife appointment, ante natal class and of course the birth. I can't imagine going through any of it alone and would feel for any one who has to.

We tried them when they first opened and were extremely disappointed, veg was cold and swimming in gravy? And the chicken was hard and chewy. we fed it too the seagulls :0( We havnt been back since. Maybe we should give it a second chance.
