mogling
I heard recently that Frankies in Brae fry their chips in Beef Dripping so I phoned them to doublecheck and the lass said yes, they have been using dripping for the last 2 years. The Happy Haddock certainly used to fry their chips in that too - not sure about nowadays? The Fort Chipshop were using vegetable oil last time I had chips from them { admittedly, a wee while ago...} 'Ian's' / the chippy at the pier were using vegetable oil as the lady told me everything in there is Halal. MuckleJoannie
We had chips from Ian's at lunchtiome and I thought they were good. Some of the people who fry there seem to be better than others.
