justlookin
i think it is irrefulatble that men experience far worse flu's than what women experience. We almost die, the testicals exasperate the force of the flu, thus causing our (male) bodies to experience a more intense aggressive attack. Pleepsie
^^^ I think I agree. Men with the sniffles do exasperate. They only exacerbate the feelings of irritation women feel when confronted with 'poorly' men.
hellsbells
My hubby has taken to his bed today with dire symptoms - he says (man flu to me) but admittedly he does look a bit poorly.

nederlander
North Tonight last night (that sounds strange....) were saying that research showed that women actually complained more when they were feeling under the weather than men do! Jeemsie1989
^^^Yes, they do!! When I have a cold/ flu/whatever, I still go to work. I suffer really badly with my synesis (don't know how to spell that!) yet, I hardly ever miss work! Still, p*ss and moan like all hellery, though! Lerwick Street
Should I be the bearer of even worse tidings and tell you that this dire affliction extends to more than just man flu?For example: Woman -a headache. Man - a migraine (could even be meningitis)Woman - a chesty cough . Man -definiitely bronchitis -possibly pnuemonia.Woman - indigestion. Man - a duodenal ulcer (probably about to rupture any minute)Woman -a stitch. Man - appendicitis -no make that peritonitis.Woman -a bit of backache. Man "Oh no I think I've got a spinal tumour" Ladies, I'm sure you can think of lots more, but I am often reminded of a comment a midwife once made to me. "If men had to have bairns, you can bet they would only have the one"
khitajrah
I know a fellow who had just met a lady-friend and was so enraptured by her that he lost his appetite. He suffered from such pains in his stomach that he was convinced it was cancer of some sort so he went to see his GP - turns out he was just hungry.
