Marooned in Maywick
DJ Otzi belongs in this thread too! Clearly you've never heard 'Anton aus Tirol'...a classic of its genre.
MaxFusion
I cannot watch the entire thing: that's the funniest thing I've watched in ages!the guitar solo at 2:13 was a peach too...gotta have guts to go on stage when you're that bad!(and yes I watched it in it's entirety)
misty25
^ Hah! If you dislike Europe's version, you'll burst your own ear drums rather than listen to this. I cannot watch the entire thing: I Haven't laughed so much in ages!!!!! who are they and who told them they were good?!
nederlander
I nominate Twerto's Metallica remix! Makes me want to rip my ears off! http://www.shetlink.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6528
Medziotojas
Who is responsible for this atrocity in the name of "music"? #I'm horny, horny - horny - horny!# I just heard the Lithuanian cover version and it brought me back to seedy Wednesday nights in Posers. Translation: I'm horny, horny - horny - horny / AÅ¡ noriu, noriu - noriu - noriu taves (I want, want-want-want you) Tu nori, nori - nori - nori manes (You want, want - want - want me). also potential candidate for dodgy lyrics thread

Njugle
I just heard the Lithuanian cover version and it brought me back to seedy Wednesday nights in Posers. "I've got the ke-ey, I've got the secre-e-et""R-R-Ride on time" How dya like them onions? /edit-oh hell, I've just minded Cotton-eye Joe. Dammit. Classic backfire
Medziotojas
^Guess what was on Muzikos Akademija tonight? Would you believe, Cotton-eye Joe. And even more disturbingly, a cover version of Football's Coming Home. I reckon even I could make it as a musician here. Dognamnit, even CD/DVD lens cleaner is listed in the top ten here, I jest not. May-to-the-Jessie
I was in Clives the other day when I overheard a group of 16/17 yr old teenagers going on about how they wish a good song would go to number one this xmas...they said - and I quote: 'Wouldn't it be good to have a great number one this year for christmas...remember the time when Bob the Builder reached number one!?" Here the others all were nodding heads before breaking out into the song...BOB THE BUILDER!!! WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING 2?!?!
tlady
^^ Bless them ... and they try to tell us that bairns are growing up faster as they used to ..

Seaflech
What about that hideous wench Britney Spears' latest 'song', which is currently raping the airwaves on every radio station. It's the one-lyric special. My old car makes better music than that. And I can switch it off.
breeksy
'Wouldn't it be good to have a great number one this year for christmas...remember the time when Bob the Builder reached number one!?" I think Bob the Builder was the perfect Xmas song that year - Xmas is mainly about kids / religion. And there are probably more people involved in the family/children aspect than there are going to Midnight Mass. Far better Bob the Builder getting the top spot than Westlife, who were at number 2 that year!
trowie246
Ah yes, Westlife or "Pondlife" as I like to call them..... Just wondered if someone could help me out, the Killers new one, I don't get it - "Are we human or are we dancers" Its's quite catchy - I just don't get it or am I hearing it wrong?
khitajrah
I know what you're saying, once you ignore the lack of a plural in "dancer" it's actually alright. For pop music, y'know
