Kavi Ugl
im going for unst to town tomorrow first thing, quite important to go aswell, wondering what the roads are like in yell and throught? by the sounds they are terrible... I don't think that will be happening!. I had men in Unst today who reported that the snow was 1.5 feet deep in places and that was this morning and the snow that's arrived in Lerwick this evening is
Muppet
I've just had a look on the town centre webcam and somebody is out on a push bike! They didn't make much of pedalling and ended up pushing it. Snow is pretty deep in the town now, and still coming down.

Spinner72
Definitely going to be a slow day tomorrow everywhere, would be stunned if any schools are open as this is definitely the most we've had so far this year. Still comparitively mild though. No wind in the forecast and should be nice between showers. As far as the roads go, it may seem bad but its only a few years ago that these conditions were the norm and people just stayed at home (and for the most part, enjoyed it!, lucky beggers!)
