Melman
Re tojo and roads Lerwick to Sumburgh .... just back from Lerwick and mostly black but some pieces still white where it's been baring across the road and fanned up at the sides, so if driving down early in the dark take care. Bright moonlit night and freezing again just now.
MJ
7am bus from walls running to time, but running a minibus. If coming from walls don't let the 1st bit fool you, it gets worse from bridge of walls, but traffic moving, if a little slow.Take care. Malcolm
I am driving to work today (hopefully) does anyone know what the road from North roe to Lerwick is like ? (Lang Kames in particular).
Spinner72
^^ Roads from North into town are fine. All black this morning (6.30am) untill Voe, but morning showers from there south have laid a slight covering of slippery slush. Kames just its usual, slightly colder so slower to clear. Nothing to cause any problems as yet.

Longdog
Just back from Lerwick via Brae to Firth. Bit white and slushy over the Kames but no problems. Temp is dropping though and around zero now so could be icy later. Can't believe how wet it is in Lerwick, lot of thaw between the showers.
