david
More or less all the public roads in Shetland. No Unst though. I would say cheapskates, but is the Unst ferry not free once you have paid for the Yell one?
crofter
I can also see mine. Half 6! Christ those boys were up early. Is it all of Shetland? Fetlar and Unst aren't on yet. Neither are Papa Stour, Foula, Whalsay, Skerries, Bressay or Fair Isle.
khitajrah
Is it Google Maps you go to to see it or Google Earth? I checked Aith on Google Maps this morning and it wasn't on either (apparently Aith is in Whalsay....) but my internet connection is too poor to use Google Earth. I was wondering how much of my house you can see, if anyone who knows where I live could check.

crofter
It do be GoogleEarth. It is on maps, zoom in to the road you want, then drag the little yellow guy onto the map from above the zoom buttons.
JAStewart
I think you can get it on Google Earth but they update Maps first.
david
The roads which are available on Street View will be highlighted in blue as you hover the little orange man above them.

Medziotojas
JFC! Ye can see in ma windaes! Yeah, you can plan "jobs" from the comfort of your own armchair now (no more sneaking around suspiciously). I wonder if we'll see a rise in the sale of net curtains. daveh
How do you actually access the street view pictures within Shetland?
jambo6
How do you actually access the street view pictures within Shetland? Go onto google maps, make sure have it set to maps rather than satellite, then keep zooming in as far as you can, eventually it'll switch from map view to street view
Medziotojas
First go here: http://maps.google.co.uk/ Type in place name (e.g. "Lerwick") in the search maps bar at the top of the page. Zoom in a little bit until you see the desired street/place. On the zoom bar you will see a little yellow man. Click on him and drag him to your desired destination. Voila! alternatively
